TOY SOLDIER HQ - Main ID Page
Great Britain for its size probably had the greatest number of companies making toy soldiers in the world. Unlike the USA most of the plastic toy soldiers and figures made in Britain were painted or multicolor swoppets. Eventually as the first golden age of plastic figures started to wane the surviving companies switched to solid color unpainted figures.
This figure was made by Tom Smith under a license from the Crescent Toy Co in England. It represents one of the TV show "Thunderbirds" characters and was given away free in Kelloggs Sugar Smacks as a premium. It also may have been given away in Christmas Crackers packages.
My name is Kent Sprecher. I am the owner of Toy Soldier HQ
